When Lizzy asks me to sing a song before she drifts off to sleep, she asks for three specific songs "I Am A Child of God", "Stay Awake" (Mary Poppins) and "I Know My Heavenly Father Loves Me" - in that order.
But Ben, on the other hand, asks for "I Am A Child of God", "Popcorn Popping" and "The Wheels On The Bus".
So, as you sit there reading this, sing those last two songs as a lullaby...didn't ever think it could be done did ya? :)
I know--I sing YW songs to Amelie and was trying to think of songs for Eric and Tanner--I ended up with I Hope They Call Me on a Mission and Army of Helaman sung as quietly and lullabyish as possible. Isn't it great to sing them to sleep? There is nothing like it!
