When she woke up this morning, she immediately put the backpack back on and has headed out for school several times already. August 9th just cannot come soon enough for this sweet girl.

The Backpack
Lizzy starts school on Aug. 9, 2010. We have been working on getting her all ready for that important first day. I found a great deal on a backpack and coordinating lunch pack that finally came in the mail yesterday. Lizzy was beyond excited. She immediately filled it with all the supplies we have bought her and strapped the backpack on. Ever since then, she has been strutting around as if she is walking to school. Every so often she'll wave her cute little hand at me and say, "Bye mom, I'm going to school now."

Saige is doing the exact same thing and we have to wait until August 16th. It is hard to believe this day is getting closer.
