Ben was up Wednesday night with a fever and coughing. By morning time he wasn't feeling much better. He started shivering so I wrapped him up in a blanket and cuddled with him on my bed while he watched "Charlotte's Web". He stayed there for about two hours. Anyone who knows Ben, knows that being still is not something he likes to do. Although I felt sad that he didn't feel well, I loved cuddling with him. His fever continued througho
is definitely back! Go Ben!
About 7pm last night Lizzy and I noticed that Max's eyes were all red. Within 30 minutes his eyes were almost swollen shut. A little while later we noticed that his whole body was swollen, ears, paws, muzzle and all. He must have been stung by some insect outside. This morning he wasn't any better and he was throwing up everywhere (good times!) I called the vet who told me to bring him in right away. So, with my sick, yet very energetic 2-year-old, and a sick dog, Lizzy and I ventured off to the vet. Max got a shot and is now recovering nicely - we hope. Lizzy was a huge help today. I just don't know what I would do without that girl.
Oh, yuck, Lisa! What a crazy day. Let me know if there's anything I can help you with!
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry your little guy was sick! I hate it when my kids go down. Your children are so beautiful. I am glad your family is doing well, it will be fun to keep up on what you are doing.
