A Love Poem

We had some friends over last night to celebrate Valentine's Day and Troy's birthday. One of the games we played required each person to write a love poem to their spouse in only 5 minutes. I didn't know if this would be a very fun game, but, oh we had some great laughs when all the poems were read. I wish I had everyone's poem here to share because there were some hilarious attempts at being romantic last night.

I wanted to post Troy's poem to me because it is so sweet:

Marriage, marriage is what brought us together today.
Although in high school I didn't know it would turn out this way.
Your smile was beautiful.
Your hair divine
I was just a sophomore
But there was a sign.

We met again at the institute
I was drooling - you just thought I was cute
We dated once - you asked me out
For me, it was love at first sight
but I freaked you out.

Now, 13 years later,
this love has been true.
I am so blessed to be married to you.
