It has been a goal of mine to hike to Ben Lomand peak in North Ogden, Utah for a few years now. I have hiked it before, maybe 3 - 4 times but not in the past 12 years. Troy has never hiked a mountain such as this before. So...with my uncle Joe, his wife Jo Lynne and their daughter Lindsey as our guides, we set out to conquer this mountain. Because of a couple of wrong turns we didn't make it to Ben Lomand peak, but we made it to somewhere along the same mountain range and at almost the same elevation. It didn't matter, what I wanted to see was seen and what I wanted to feel was felt. What a wonderful adventure!!
These pictures are gorgeous. Dallon and I love to hike and now our kids have actually grown to like it. I almost always feel so close to the Lord being in His creations.
