This post is a little behind but needed to be added to our family's list of accomplishments this year...
Troy was Lizzy's soccer coach this year. The season went from the beginning of September to the second week of December. The temps at the games and practices went from blistering 110* to a chilly 60*. Troy's goal was to get all of the kids to kick the ball in the same direction and into the goal. He did an amazing job for not really ever playing soccer before. His team loved him and gave it their all - except for his daughter. :) To be fair, she gave it her all, she just didn't have a lot to give when it came to soccer. During the last game I let her sit and watch because she was more of a hindrance to the team than a help. I do not mean that rudely whatsoever. Lizzy was simply not going to play, therefore someone should be on the field who would actually be part of the team. She was a great cheerleader on the sidelines.
