I made the HUGE mistake of entering a Disney contest - with Lizzy by my side - in which the winners will stay the night at the Disneyland Dream Suite as well as a private meeting with Tiana and Naveen from Disney's "The Princess And The Frog" - Lizzy's new favorite movie.
I say MISTAKE because she can talk of nothing else now and has even been crying over the fact that we MIGHT NOT WIN...
"Oh Mommy, I want to talk to Naveen. We just have to win the contest. I love to stay in hotels (she actually says that word "hotel" with a southern accent. She always has. We have no idea why. It is super cute.) I love the smell of hotels. I love the bedspreads (she really said that!). I love the tv and the bathrooms and the elevators. Our house is just so boring and hotels are so fun. Oh, mommy we just have to win!"
Oh my.
Could the forces of the universe please combine to either have our names chosen as the winners OR calm my daughter's drama queen heart? Our luck they will probably opt to calm her heart. I suppose that is the wiser choice anyway. :)
