The Return of Max and Ruby

I've written before that Lizzy loves to watch a little cartoon called "Max and Ruby" about a girl bunny named Ruby and her little brother named Max. In a nutshell, their parents are never around, not even for shopping trips or bath time or meals etc. Max will never be allowed to do anything wrong or anything that he really wants to do, as his big sister is very much in control of EVERYTHING!

Well, yesterday, the Max and Ruby (a.k.a Ben and Lizzy) who live in my house, decided to go camping. While I was conquering the mountain of laundry on my bed, Lizzy packed their bags (snacks, change of clothes, books to read), dressed Ben and herself for the trip and headed out. Before they set out, however, they did swing in and let me know they would be camping and not to worry about them. Thanks guys.
I love to hear my kiddos playing and laughing together - it is my favorite sound. Ben sure is going to miss Lizzy once she starts school - even if she does boss him around sometimes - well more than sometimes. What are big sisters for?
