Mud! Glorious Mud!

I don't know what it is but I just love to let my kids play in the mud and I love to take pictures of my kids playing in the mud.

I think it is because I very much want my children to love being kids. I don't want them to grow up too fast and I want them to have wonderfully fun memories of their childhood filled with joy and for some reason making a glorious mess in the mud seems like it would be a good memory some day - not to mention loads of fun in the present. Their mud adventures are never planned, always spontaneous and always oodles of fun!

Besides, they love being sprayed off with the hose afterward. (I know Lizzy is probably too old for me to share this picture in public, but oh, wait, my blog is private now!)
