It is a tradition at Ronald Regan School for the Kindergarten classes to have a Water Day the day before their Kindergarten Celebration (graduation). They get to wear their swim suits to school under their clothes and about 30 minutes after school has started they head out the door (that's because it is already so hot here in Yuma)
There were water slides, snow cones, kiddie pools and lots of fun activities. Lizzy had a blast!
Water squirt bottle fights! So fun!
Using badminton racquets as bubble wands! Great idea!
Cute Girlies!
Notice the one boy in the middle? Yup, He was the class heart throb. He's the boy who lost his tooth in class at the beginning of the year and made Lizzy fall head-over-heels in love with him. They are just great friends now.
The best part of the whole day (at least for me) was when Lizzy went to get a snow cone, came back to me and said, "Mom! Let's share a snow cone!" AND when she begged me to come sit on the towels with all of her friends. How long will that last? I have no idea but I'm going to take it while I can!
