Troy is re-landscaping our backyard - little by little by little. He planted this tangerine tree in August. It had lots of leaves and seemed happy to join our family. Since August, however, Ben and Lizzy have decided to treat it as one of their siblings - picking and teasing and beating it up. Lizzy loves to bring me flowers and the leaves on this tree have served as her offerings to me over the last few months, until they are now all gone. Ben has leaned up against it on more than one occasion, almost bending it in half. Yet, through it all, it just keeps on living and sprouting new leaves whenever it can. We need to give it a name - Lizzy says it is a girl. Any suggestions?
P.S. The flowers are also suffering from Ben and Lizzy's gift giving tendencies. We may wait until they are grown to plant anything else.
Lisa, Thank you so much for your beautiful post. Your blog looks perfect--you have done a wonderful job. I also admire you as well. You are a wonderful mother and have a beautiful family. Thank you for all your support in RS with my mom. I know my mom loves the ladies in the ward and wants to love and serve them. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Love always, Sonia
