It's Time to Register for A NEW YOU

Hey ladies,
A lot of you have asked that I keep you informed about a program I have attended in the past titled "A New You". For the past 13 years the program has been held at BYU-Hawaii but this year it will be held at the U of U. I went two years ago as a participant and last year I went back as a counselor. I have been asked to return again as a counselor and am very excited and honored to have this opportunity again. The following is a letter that was sent to me from the program's director, Barbara Barrington Jones. She asked that we distribute this to our friends and family. I hope some of you can attend and that you will register sooner rather than later as it will fill up very fast this year because it is in Utah, and there are a limited amount of rooms - it will be sold out soon.

This year's program will be at the world renowned Olympic Village on the University of Utah Campus in Salk Lake City, August 3-8, 2009. You will come for a week of internal and external rejuvenation that will change your life forever! Retreat from your everyday world and find your real self again and most importantly, grow spiritually through the strengthening of your relationshiop with God and Christ.

You will enjoy daily morningsides with Barbara Barrington Jones who will help you find "Joy in the Journey." In this newly desigend program you will enjoy a series of nightly concerts and devotionals to uplift and spiritually inspire you. This series will feature the musical talents of Kenneth Cope, Julie de Azevedo and Jessie Clark-Funk along with the speaking talents of Chieko Okazaki, John Lund and Brad Wilcox.

You will be pampered with a delightful makeover at the extraordinary new Landis Aveda Salon with the world class Salon Director, shawn Kirk, where you will learn what hairstyle looks best especially for you. Professionally trained make-up artists will help you learn to apply make-up that will enhance your best features.

You will also experience the fun of learning more about yourself: how to overcome fatigue, have more energy and loose those unwanted pounds, how to choose a wardrobe that fits your personal style and body type; how to walk and conduct yourself with poise and graciosness, and how to overcome chaos and disorganization.

Women from all over the United States will be coming for this incredible life changing experience. Please feel free to call me or email me with questions. You can also check out thier website www.anewyouforwomen.com. You will find registration information on their website as well. Many women go all by themselves and make life-long friends and many women go as mother/daughter teams or just a group of friends. It is a wonderful week - one every woman needs to experience. There really is limited space so don't wait too long.

  1. Lisa, I love your beautiful blog and benefit from your spirit and positive attitude. Your children are beautiful, too. Thanks for sharing yourself! I look forward to seeing you at ANY again this year. Maybe I'll be in your group again. :-) Love you!
