90 Days

I attended a Mary Kay Conference in San Diego last Friday and Saturday. It was a wonderful experience filled with great training just for living a positive, happy life. I was encouraged to reach within myself, set new goals and keep moving forward.

I have to add here that I am very honored to be a part of the Mary Kay company. (Keep reading, I don't want to scare anyone away here. If you know me very well, you have to know that I would not write this if I didn't feel it very strongly. I joined Mary Kay just to help pay for our in vitro bills but have found a wonderful opportunity to help make a difference in the lives of so many women.) Mary Kay was an amazing woman with vision and wisdom beyond that of most normal people. She believed in the golden rule with all her heart. It is how she lived her life and her life was rewarded for it. She paid tithing on all she earned and encouraged all those in her company to do the same - she said that is why her company was so successful - and she's right. She believed that any good you sent out into the world would come back to you - and she's right. Her company is, at this very moment, completely debt free. No bail-outs needed for them. The recession isn't affecting them at all. It is making more money than ever right NOW and is the number one cosmetic company on the market. Call me, or check out my website - fabulous new stuff. I love it ALL!! www.marykay.com/lisalove2

Anyway, the annual seminar in Texas is coming up in July and we were each given a challenge to set some goals - not just Mary Kay goals, but life goals - and accomplish them in the next 90 days(the amount of days before the conference). Although I am not attending the conference, I still want to set some goals. I've never really been the best goal setter but I'd like to pick myself up and try again. 90 days. What can I accomplish in 90 days? Not sure I'm ready to let those be known to the world quite yet, but maybe in a few weeks.

Until then, one suggestion was made that we write down one positive affirmation a day to help us along. So, I need some help with this. Any positive affirmations out there to share? I'm going to post some great inspirational stories over the next 90 days that I LOVE and will hopefully keep me going.

Anyone want to join me for the next 90 days? Keep Moving Forward!!

  2. Lisa: You inspired me on facebook. I've set a pretty big weight-loss goal to reach before ANY. I have a dress I want to wear there, but it will definitely take the Lord's help to reach it. Thanks for your positive, up-lifting thoughts and encouragement. I wish I could hang out with you more and become like you.

P.S. I don't sell Mary Kay but I love to wear it and I agree that she was amazing.

  4. I love setting goals--I need them to keep me going. I'll join you. I need to refocus spiritually--study, not just read the scriptures and conference talks. I think I will focus on that. I'd love the support--you are a tremendous woman and role model, whether you like it or not. :)

  5. Great idea....For me my big goal is to be able to write down everyday....How the Lord's hand was in my life. I know it happens everyday. The other thing is everyday I want to be able to do something that brings me joy. Like President Monson taught to find joy in the journey. So I will recommint myself to that. Good luck on your goal...
