During the winter, Yuma turns into a retiree's dreamland. Our population literally doubles and with the winter visitors come their very large vehicles - namely their motor homes. Lizzy has been noticing these large homes on wheels lately and she and I have had lengthy discussions about exactly what they are. I had no idea, however, that she was so enthralled with them until last night while Lizzy was saying her prayers...
"Dear Heavenly Father. Pleeeeease help us find a motor home that is big enough for mommy and Ben and me and Daddy. Pleeeease Heavenly Father. We really want one so we can sleep and eat our breakfast inside of it. Oh Pleeeease Heavenly Father."
How our Father in Heaven must adore this girl's prayers.
Anyone want to help the Lord answer Lizzy's prayers? Maybe I should just wait and see what He has in store for her.
My mom is trying to sell theirs, it is GORGEOUS,if it were here in Yuma I would say go have breakfast in it tomorrow. THat is so cute. It is funny how the little things can seem so incredible to children. Are you excited for your new calling? you will be wonderful at it, and extremely busy!

ReplyDeleteShe's adorable!
ReplyDeleteWe saw her at Chuck E. Cheese last night, by the way! She ran up to me waving like crazy with this HUGE smile on her face. So darn cute.

ReplyDeleteWe want one too! I guess I just need to pray harder!
ReplyDeleteWith that sweet and sincere faith going on, I expect to see one parked in front of your house in no time...:)
