The Dynamic Dad!

I missed recording Troy's birthday and a few other Dad events, so I can't miss creating a Father's Day post...
Simply put...Troy is a terrific dad! Ben and Lizzy insist on running outside every morning to wave good-bye to him as he is heading to work and they listen intently for the door to open in the evening when he returns.This is the kids making sure he gets enough hugs and kisses before he heads out the door for work.He has a gazillion talents which are all rubbing off on Ben and Lizzy.He works incredibly hard for us. His private counseling business "Courageous Journeys" is doing so well!! He is booked and has started a waiting list! He loves what he does and truly feels he is doing what the Lord has guided him to do at this time

We are indeed grateful for all Troy does for us.

Here is what Lizzy loves about Daddy:
1. I love giving him hugs and kisses when he comes home from work.
2. He shares his yummy protein drinks in the morning.
3. He reads me poems from the "Where the Sidewalk Ends" book
4. He plays chalk with us.
5. He took me to see Toy Story 3 because I cleaned up my room.
6. He helps me clean up my room sometimes.
7. He gets me my breakfast while mommy is exercising.
8. Sometimes he gives me piggy-back rides.
9. He bought me a new Tiana nightgown.
10. He plays the guitar for me.
(I typed exactly what Lizzy told me to type - even the protein drink one!) :)
Here is what Ben loves about Daddy:
1. He takes me to the "Man Store" almost every Saturday (this means Lowe's - it is an almost weekly father/son outing so they call it the "Man Store")
2. He builds block towers with me.
3. He helps me get in my suit and tie on Sunday mornings so I can look like him.
4. He lets me help him do the yard work every week.
5. He swims with me.
6. He reads me stories with funny voices.
7. He watches Star Wars, Spiderman and Superman with me.
8. He built me a sand box.
9. He lets me eat lots of candy (mom doesn't).
10. He gives great hair cuts.Here is what I love about Troy:
1. He folds laundry!!
2. He helps with Sunday dinner every week.
3. He calls me from work just to say "hi" even though he only has about 10 minutes between clients.
4. He takes me on a date almost every week.
5. He loves to have family movie nights where he will set up the projector outside, hang up a sheet like a big screen and pop his fabulous popcorn.
6. Even when he is running late in the morning, he will take time to have family scripture study and prayer.
7. He loves Disneyland as much as I do.
8. He doesn't mind when the house is a mess.
9. He works two jobs so that I can stay home with the children.
10. He supports me in EVERYTHING I do!
