As I mentioned, previously, Ben's language skills are taking their own sweet time, due to unknown medical problems. However, I have learned to decipher his language a bit. Does the "gift of tongues" include understanding your child's own garbled version of the language you yourself speak? :)
With no explanation as to why, Ben came up to me today and in his clearest Benese said, "Daddy is Spiderman. Ben is Spiderman. Mama is Cinderella. Lizzy is Cinderella."
The boy is a genius! He may not be able to articulate perfectly but he undoubtedly has recognized greatness and beauty in his parents, his sister and himself. Like I said, genius! :)
